At Houston Humane Society, we strive to protect and improve the well-being of animals, the people who care for them, and our community by providing compassionate support, essential resources and education to help pets and wildlife live their best lives. Whether you're looking to adopt a new best friend, access affordable veterinary services, or report animal cruelty, our dedicated team is here to help. Located at 14700 Almeda Rd. in Houston, TX, we offer a range of services including pet adoptions, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and wellness exams. Our adoption center is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Clinic services are available Monday through Saturday, with walk-in vaccinations from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and exams and surgeries by appointment. Walk-ins after 3:00 p.m. are not guaranteed to see a veterinarian.
