The K9 Fun Run + Walk is Houston Humane Society’s longest running and most beloved community event, proudly recognized as Houston’s first dog walk and run. The 2027 K9 Fun Run + Walk marks our 45th annual celebration, honoring decades of community support, wagging tails, and lifesaving impact.
Each year, hundreds of participants, families, and four legged friends come together for a morning filled with energy, celebration, and a shared commitment to helping animals in need.
This signature event has grown into one of Houston’s largest pet friendly gatherings, featuring interactive activities, vendor booths, entertainment, and plenty of tail wagging fun for all ages.
