3. What services does your Animal Wellness Clinic provide?

4. Do I need an appointment for the clinic?

6. What is fostering, and how can I become a foster?

9. Can I adopt if I live outside of Houston?

 

Absolutely! While we’re based in Houston, we welcome adopters from surrounding areas. Just make sure you can visit us in person to meet your new pet.

 

10. What should I bring when adopting a pet?

11. Do you offer pet training or behavior resources?


While we don’t offer training services directly, we can recommend trusted local trainers and resources to help your pet adjust.

 

12. What should I do if I find a stray animal?

If you find a stray, contact your local animal control and always have the pet scanned for a microchip. Visit Petco Love Lost to help them return home.

15. What is your policy on animal cruelty cases?


We’re committed to ending animal cruelty and work closely with local authorities to address abuse cases. If you suspect animal cruelty in Harris County, report it to the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce online or call 832-927-PAWS. Outside of Harris County, report it to local law enforcement. 16. Can I sponsor an animal or program?

17. Do you offer group volunteering opportunities?

18. What should I do if I can no longer care for my pet?


Consider the Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet.com program, a no-cost online self-rehoming service for individual pet owners. If you need to surrender a pet, please visit our Animal Intake page or contact us to discuss your options. We’re here to help and ensure your pet’s safety.


19. How can I adopt a pet during special events?
