On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the Houston Humane Society aims to neuter over 500 male cats at 14700 Almeda Rd.
Cat owners in Houston and surrounding areas are invited to schedule an appointment! A $5 registration fee per cat is required to reserve your spot. Please note, the registration fee is non-refundable.
- Limit: 4 cats per household
- Eligibility: Domesticated and feral cats qualify
- Safety Requirements: All cats must be in a plastic crate or carrier for their health and safety.
- Cats receive a free distemper vaccine ($24 value)
A current rabies vaccination is required by law. Pet owners must provide proof of a valid rabies certificate, or they may purchase a rabies vaccine on the day of the event for $10 (a $16 value).
