Houston Humane Society is excited to announce that we will be hosting an equine castration (gelding) clinic on Saturday, November 7th at the Houston Humane Society Pavilion located at  3330 S Sam Houston Pkwy W, Houston, TX 77047. Join us for this Community Equine Care Day, a community-focused event dedicated to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of local horses.

What to expect: This is a low-cost clinic for horses in our community. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee will be $275 per horse; there is no cost to pre-register.

Important notes:

• Horses must be current on tetanus vaccination.
• If your horse is cryptorchid (one or both testicles not descended), please note that on the form so you can be referred to Waller Equine Hospital.
• You'll need to be available to monitor your horse for 24–48 hours after the procedure.
