🐾 PSA: Protect Your Pets from the Summer Heat ☀️
Never leave your pet in a parked, turned-off vehicle. Even with the windows cracked, temperatures inside a car can become deadly within minutes and lead to heat stroke.
Help keep your pets safe by providing plenty of fresh water, avoiding walks during the hottest part of the day, and watching for signs of overheating.
If you witness animal cruelty or neglect, report it immediately. Your call could save a life. It's illegal to restrain a dog outside without shelter and clean drinking water, or to use chains or weighted restraints. Report animal cruelty in Harris County to the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce at 832-927-7297 or submit a report to 927paws.org. In case of an emergency, call 911.
