Summer Companion Camp Teen Week

Due to the current health and safety precautions, we have decided to close camp from June 29th through July 10th. We plan to resume camp on July 13th. All sessions are currently full. 
 
Contact Chloe at camp@houstonhumane.org for any questions, concerns, or to sign up for the waitlist in case of cancellations. 
 
Governor Abbott has allowed the return of summer camps for children, thus the Houston Humane Society is continuing with its Summer Companion Camp, taking the following COVID-19 health and safety measures:
 
* 15 campers per week to ensure social distancing
* Required to wear face masks (daily use face masks will be provided for those who do not have one)
* Increased sanitation measures, such as individualized camper materials
* Counselors are required to wear masks all day and wear gloves when handling camp materials and cleaning
 
Summer Companion Camp
Looking for the perfect Summer camp for your little ones? Companion Camp is a fun-filled camp that your child will never forget! During Companion Camp, the kids will experience:
  • hands on play time with the adoptable animals
  • humane education
  • play games, and make crafts for the animals
  • attend interactive show-and-tells from animal experts
  • Observe a live animal surgery in our Wellness Clinic
  • Make tons of friends and great memories
