Beetle is a 3 year old Akita mix who brings a lot of energy, a lot of personality, and a whole lot of love!
For the past 250 days, Beetle has been waiting for someone who truly understands him. Someone who sees his enthusiasm, his intelligence, and his playful spirit and knows exactly what to do with it.
Beetle is a dog who thrives on connection. He genuinely enjoys being with people and lights up during any kind of interaction. Whether he's training, playing, or simply spending time near his person, he's fully engaged and ready to be part of the moment with you.
He's smart, eager to learn, and currently working on his basic skills with our team. He already knows how to sit and is building confidence with polite greetings. He also loves food and enrichment activities, especially things like puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and chews that keep his mind active and engaged.
When it comes to play, Beetle brings the same enthusiasm. He enjoys spending time with other dogs who match his energy and play style. His idea of fun includes chasing, wrestling, and rolling around with a friend who is just as excited as he is.
Outside of the shelter, Beetle truly shines! During his Doggy Day Out trips, he shows just how loving, fun, and adaptable he can be. These moments give a glimpse of the companion he's ready to become in a home of his own.
