Celebrate DOGust by Making a Difference!
August is National Dog Month, a time to celebrate the unconditional love, loyalty, and companionship that dogs bring into our lives. It also serves as an important reminder that thousands of shelter dogs are still waiting for the chance to find a loving family.
The celebration begins on DOGust 1st, the universal birthday for shelter dogs whose actual birthdates are unknown. It's a day dedicated to honoring these incredible animals and shining a light on the importance of giving every dog the opportunity for a happy, healthy future.
At our shelter, every dog deserves compassionate care while they wait for their forever home. Our designated Veterinary Shelter Team works to provide routine wellness exams, vaccinations, life-saving surgeries, heartworm prevention, nutritious food, and comfortable bedding. We are committed to providing exceptional care every day. These essential services are only possible because of the generosity and support of our community.
