Celebrate DOGust by Making a Difference!
August is National Dog Month, a time to celebrate the unconditional love, loyalty, and companionship that dogs bring into our lives. It also serves as an important reminder that thousands of shelter dogs are still waiting for the chance to find a loving family.
The celebration begins on DOGust 1st, the universal birthday for shelter dogs whose actual birthdates are unknown. It's a day dedicated to honoring these incredible animals and shining a light on the importance of giving every dog the opportunity for a happy, healthy future.
Ways to Help:
- Donate: Toys and treats help provide comfort, enrichment, and healthy play for the dogs in our shelter while they wait for the loving families they deserve. Check out our list of suggested toys and treats.
