Claire's Happy Tail

This week, we're sharing Claire’s story for Happy Tail Tuesday!

 

“When we adopted Claire we knew she had possibly spent part of her life fending for herself and it would take time to adjust to our family. She was cautious, incredibly smart, and had clearly learned how to survive on her own. Watching her discover what it means to be a part of our family has been one of the most rewarding experiences.

 

Claire has blossomed into a loving, loyal companion. She loves being part of our daily adventures, whether it’s going for walks, gardening, getting late night Whataburger, or especially relaxing at home with her family. She keeps us laughing with her silly personality and reminds us every day how resilient dogs can be.

 

Like many rescue dogs, Claire came with a few challenges, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, she's gained confidence and she continues to learn that she's safe. Seeing her happy, comfortable, and truly at home has been the greatest gift.

 

Adopting Claire changed our lives just as much as it changed hers.”
