Honey’s story is one of resilience, love, and hope. She came to us after being rescued and given a second chance in a foster home where she learned what safety, patience, and kindness truly feel like. Trust did not come easily at first, but with gentle care and unwavering dedication, Honey blossomed. She raised her twelve babies with devotion and learned that people can be loving and dependable.
Her foster has given her so much love, but with a full household already, she hopes Honey’s next chapter will be written in a forever home of her own. One where Honey can finally be the one cared for, cherished, and never left feeling alone again.
Honey is sweet, calm, and deeply affectionate. She loves to play and run, but she is just as happy soaking up cuddles, belly rubs, long walks, and cozy movie nights on the couch. She has a big heart and a gentle soul, and she bonds deeply with the people she trusts. Though she may look big, her love is even bigger.
She would do best in a home without cats, as she has a strong interest in chasing them, and she prefers being guided gently on leash rather than being handled by the collar. Baths are not her favorite activity, but she handles them like a champ, especially when they are warm and indoors.
Honey is an adult dog who still has so much love to give and so many beautiful years ahead. She is not asking for perfection, just a family who will love her fully and let her know she is home for good. In return, Honey promises loyalty, joy, comfort, and a heart that will never stop loving.
