Meet Mama Lily: The Purring Queen of Second Chances 💕

Hi there, I’m Mama Lily, but you can just call me Lily. They named me “Mama” because I’ve been the most devoted, nurturing surrogate mom to more than a few litters of kittens. I take my role as a caregiver seriously (with a side of sass, of course). But now it’s my turn to be cared for, and I think it might just be you I’ve been waiting for. 🐾

Let me tell you a little about me.

I’m an expert in the art of the headbutt. It's how I say “I love you” and “You’re mine now.” I'm also a connoisseur of window-gazing, a wand toy warrior, and a churro enthusiast (yes, the cat treat kind!). And brushing? Ohhh, yes. Bring on the brush. I’ll purr like a little engine.

But here's the truth: I’m still learning to trust again. People haven’t always been kind to me, so hands can sometimes make me nervous. I'm not a fan of being picked up just yet, but if you leave your hand near me, I’ll come to you. Gently. Sweetly. With a soft head bump and a big purr. It’s my way of saying, “Thank you for going slow with me.”

I’d do best in a calm, quiet home without young children. Too many loud noises or sudden movements can make me skitter away. But give me patience, a cozy window perch, some gentle play, and your heart, and I promise I’ll be the first one to greet you at the door with a purr and a head nudge.

So… what do you say?

Will you give a former mama a chance to be someone’s baby for once?

With all the purrs,
Mama Lily 🐱
