Paris was adopted by Matt, a volunteer here at the Houston Humane Society. He says:
"Paris was brought in from the streets of Houston in 2019 when we just started to volunteer at HHS. She had heartworm disease and was so scared she would NOT come out of her kennel. We had to carry her out to give her affection, but she wouldn't walk. She was the friendliest, most loving dog, so we decided to sponsor her heartworm treatment to help her get adopted. Two months later we brought her home to foster her. She was our first foster and also became our first adopted rescue. We have since fostered many dogs and adopted some as well. She's now part of a pack of 6 that love the country life!"
