Poppy is a 5 year old Plott Hound mix with a quiet spirit and a heart that blooms in the right environment.
She can be timid at first and is not the kind of dog who asks to be the center of attention. Poppy is more of a wallflower, happiest observing the world around her until she feels safe enough to step forward. But when she begins to trust you, you get to see just how special she is.
With patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, Poppy starts to open up and show her sweet personality. The bond you build with her is the kind that feels meaningful because it is earned through trust and care.
Poppy has spent time in foster care and has shown that she truly thrives in a home environment. Away from the busy shelter setting, she settles in beautifully and enjoys the comforts of everyday life.
Some of her favorite things include car rides, relaxing on a patio, and basking in the sunshine. She appreciates peaceful moments and the simple joys of being close to the people she trusts.
