Rex and Lolita’s Happy Tail

We're celebrating the adoption of a bonded pair we couldn't imagine having to separate!

 

Here is what their new guardian, Mark has to say: 

 

"After experiencing the loss of both our long-time fur babies this past year, we decided it was time to open our home and hearts to a new set of pups.

 

We looked online at several places, and couldn't find any that seemed 'right.'  Fortunately, we came across a HHS Facebook story highlighting a bonded pair of dogs named Rex and Lolita (now Rosie). 

 

Their pictures and story immediately resonated with me and my wife. We felt that we could provide the home to keep their bond intact. We arranged a meet and greet, and Rex and Rosie adopted us. We were able to take them home the same day since they had already been spayed neutered.

 

They immediately settled into their new home and are inseparable! They love receiving belly rubs, giving kisses, and going for walks.

 

Of course, no one could ever replace our previous fur babies, and while they’ll always have a special place in our hearts, we have made room for a new love."
