Spay, Vaccinate, Microchip: One Family’s Journey with Pets for Life

We met Maria during one of our community outreach events back in August 2024, and she immediately stole our hearts, along with her three adorable girls: Maggie, Canela, and Lucy. From the very first visit, it was clear how much love and care Maria has for her pups, even while navigating some difficult circumstances.

Since that day, Maria and her girls have been loyal Pets for Life clients. Through the PFL program, all three girls have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, helping ensure they stay healthy, safe, and right where they belong, with their family. They recently came back to see us for their annual vaccines, and it was such a joy to see how happy, healthy, and loved they are.

Maria often shares how grateful she is to have found a program like Pets for Life, one that truly supports families during challenging times and removes barriers to veterinary care. Thanks to our amazing donors, Maggie, Canela, and Lucy also received flea prevention (NexGard Plus) and dental chews (OraVet) to keep their tails wagging and smiles healthy. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our supporters.

Maria and her girls are always incredibly thankful for this opportunity, and she proudly spreads the word about Pets for Life with friends, family, and neighbors, helping connect more families and pets to the care they deserve. Stories like Maria’s remind us why this work matters and how, together, we can keep pets healthy and families together.
