Starbucks' Happy Tail

Starbucks came into our care with a bad case of Scabies. After beginning treatment with our amazing shelter clinic, she was adopted.

 

Here's what her adopter Kelly, has to say:

 

"Starbucks (now Blossom) is doing AMAZING! She was covered in matted hair and itchy scabs. But now she is totally scab free, completely healed, and her hair is growing back soft and fluffy. She's so cuddly and sweet, but also so playful! She LOVES her cat sister, Peachy and dog brother, Kobe. 

 

She was also so good during her healing process, so docile. It's like she understood we were helping her feel better. We lost our precious cat, Gracie, suddenly to cancer in January and we were not sure if we were ready for another cat. We saw Blossom's picture on the website and I immediately fell in love. She has really helped me during my own healing process.

 

I am so grateful for Houston Humane to give Blossom a chance. She is perfect for us! I hope that other people become willing to open their home to a shelter pet's healing too, whether it be from a physical illness or emotional trauma."
