Sunshine
Sunshine is the kind of dog who makes everything feel a little calmer.
This sweet 2 year old mixed breed has a gentle nature and a quiet presence that people naturally gravitate toward. She looks at you with the most soulful eyes and always seems happiest when she’s close to her people.
Our volunteers adore her, and it’s easy to see why. You can often find them sitting out in the play yard with Sunshine, relaxing together in the grass and enjoying the moment. She has a calm, comforting energy that makes spending time with her feel easy.
She also loves treats and is always happy to show off a trick or two when snacks are involved. Sunshine enjoys connecting with people and shines brightest when she’s getting attention from someone she trusts.
We’re especially happy to celebrate Sunshine’s health journey! She recently finished her heartworm treatment and is now ready to enjoy the full, happy life she deserves.
Sunshine would do best in a home without cats, as she prefers human companionship over feline friends. She would thrive in a laid back home that enjoys quiet routines, slower days, and the kind of companionship that doesn’t need to be loud to be meaningful.
She has so much love to give and is sure to enrich the life of the person or family who chooses her.
