Kairo
Kairo is a well-adjusted and friendly male Leopard Gecko who sometimes accepts insects off tongs, and eats wax/meal worms from a dish. Slow going and relaxed, there will be no behavioral surprises from Kairo. No problems with handling, he is calm and collect during the entire process. Leopard Geckos make wonderful beginner reptiles for the exotic keeper who may want to learn the ropes of lizard ownership with a long-lived and easy species.
Kairo is this week's KPRC Pet Project feature of the week! See his segment with Lisa Hernandez and Wildlife & Exotics Coordinator Conner below.
