Budgies

Parakeets are a general name for any small to medium-size species of bird that has long tail feathers, but these are technically called BUDGIES. They are native to Australia, come in all colors, and are extremely social (like to be kept in groups of at least 2).

They are great pets because they make very strong bonds with their owners, can be let out to crawl on you, fly, and eat from your hand, and live between 5-10 years. They eat seeds, fruits, and bird pellet mix. They are playful and social and deserve as much love and attention as larger parrots and all pets in general.
