Our thoughts and prayers are with our friends at KPRC, Channel 2 today. We are heartbroken to hear the news of our sweet boy Radar passing over the Rainbow Bridge.
Through our long-time partnership with the station, we consider everyone at Ch. 2 part of our family. And Radar was so much more than our most famous alumni. He was a smart, happy, amazing dog that served as a true ambassador for pet adoption in Houston. Through the years, he (along with the station) has helped thousands of animals find their forever home.
To the staff at Ch. 2, Radar was so much more than just a weather dog. He was a friend and co-worker...and in most cases, their favorite co-worker! I can't tell you how many times I've been at the station and conversations have turned into swapping stories about Radar's antics, both on and off the air.
We want to thank Ch. 2 and Rick (Radar's dad in retirement years) for giving Radar such an amazing life. And we want to thank YOU, the viewers, that opened up your hearts and homes through your Television and made Radar a part of your life.
